A Beautiful Adventure with a Powerful Message
I picked up Miles and Lee Save the Monarch Butterflies for my grandkids, and we all really enjoyed it! This is the second book in the Miles and Lee series and after enjoying book 1, this seemed like an obvious choice. The story follows two curious boys on a mission to help protect the monarch butterflies—and it’s both educational and full of wonder. The book does a good job explaining the monarchs’ long migration and the importance of milkweed. Plus, it’s told in both English and Spanish, which I really appreciated. It makes it a great tool for bilingual learning too! The illustrations are lovely, and the chapters are short and engaging—perfect for reading a little each night.

Fantasy
Miles and Lee Save the Monarch Butterflies is a beautiful story about helping these lovely creatures. My six-year-old loved the book and read it every night for a week. Also very well illustrated.
