School Visits
SCHOOL VISITS ACROSS THE 50 STATES
The authors, María Retana and Miles Last, her grandson, now 14 and a freshman in high school, provide full days (up to 5 within a school district) for students in grades K-6.
Setting: classroom or library. Mrs. Retana and Mr. Last want to mingle with the students, so they will not make an assembly-style visit. The authors will make presentations to a maximum of 60 students. They can hold up to six sessions per day if needed.
